Minnows was my gateway into the sporting and marketing world, a brand I founded during my university days. it was a hands-on learning experience that laid the foundation for my career in the industry.

Goals

The primary goal with Minnows was to immerse myself in the practical aspects of marketing and design. I aimed to gain firsthand experience in ecommerce, social media marketing, and brand development. This was a sandbox for experimentation, where I could teach myself the ropes of running a business and build a solid skill set that would serve me well in future endeavors.

Launching Minnows involved a multifaceted approach. I set up a Shopify website, which became the hub of our online presence. Running Meta ads and utilizing Google Analytics for reporting became part of my daily routine, alongside crafting email marketing campaigns and collaborating with influencers to amplify our reach. Minnows essentially became a full-time endeavor, requiring dedication and creativity to manage all aspects of the brand's growth.

Results

At its peak, Minnows achieved impressive milestones, garnering a 10k following on Instagram and generating $50k in annual revenue. It's something that I am really proud of and keep telling myself I'll revive one day.
